Any Magic deck, but we recommend a Commander deck. If you don't know how to play, don't worry. Just turn on the tutorial at the start of the run.
You get 3 setup turns to build your board. The enemy troops are still gathering and the wave does nothing.
Every opponent turn a new wave of tokens arrives and attacks right away: they have haste and vigilance. When you attack, each wave creature blocks one of your attackers, starting with the highest-power ones. Unblocked attackers deal their damage to a wave creature of your choice.
Every kill grants XP, and Generals are worth 10 tokens. Fill the bar to level up and pick 1 of 3 rolled buffs.
